Opening your private workspace…

Privacy & consent

Your stories. Your choice to share.

Read about family privacy and consent

In this private family workspace, you can write a memory or record your own voice in your browser and share it with your invited family. The digital monthly plan and any existing private pilot have separate access conditions. A separately enabled phone test is limited to its designated storyteller, verified US number and service allowance. Printed books are not included. Read the customer terms for the paid digital plan.

Browser recording starts only when you choose Record and allow your browser’s microphone. You can listen or discard before saving. Saving sends the recording and story text to Narramo. Record your own voice and share only what you are comfortable sharing with your invited family.

For the phone test, you enter your own number, choose SMS or a verification call and confirm a weekly calling choice. Narramo stores your number, consent, chosen schedule, verification and call status. Twilio receives the number and verification request, carries the call, and stores the recording after you press 1 to agree. A call asks one question and records up to ten minutes; it is not a live conversation. Press # to finish or hang up to stop. Narramo then attempts to import the original audio into this private family workspace and delete the provider recording. Import or deletion can remain pending; ending a call is not proof either step completed.

You can pause future phone calls in Phone calls or Privacy & keepsakes. An in-progress call must be ended by hanging up. Pausing or withdrawing consent does not erase recordings already saved. Do not enter another person’s number or make their recording choice for them.

Invited members can read saved stories, listen to recordings and ask questions. The family owner manages access and can request exports or family deletion. The owner and designated storyteller can also see unapproved transcript drafts. The workspace is private, but not end-to-end encrypted: the operator and service infrastructure have technical access to store and process its contents.

When transcription is enabled, a local speech model on Narramo’s Hetzner server turns a saved recording into an English draft. This workflow does not send the recording to an external AI transcription service or use it to train a model. Drafts can be wrong and may be unavailable. Compare a draft with the audio, edit it and explicitly save your reviewed text; it never replaces your story automatically.

Cloudflare carries and protects site requests. Supabase stores family membership, consent, stories, recordings and export data. The transcription server receives a temporary recording copy when processing is enabled. For an arranged sign-in email, Resend receives the recipient address and private access link, not story content. A necessary sign-in cookie lasts up to seven days, subject to earlier expiry or revocation. Keep keys and emailed links private.

Withdrawing recording consent stops new collection and prevents pending transcript completion. It does not erase content already saved. The owner can request a ZIP of saved text and original recordings; unapproved transcript drafts are not included. Family deletion immediately ends access, then queues removal of stored content. The request is not proof that removal has finished. Limited activity and closure metadata remain; copies already downloaded by family members are outside Narramo’s control. Pilot or access expiry does not automatically delete content. No provider-backup or log deletion deadline is established by this notice.

For help or a data request, including a request independent of the family owner, contact [email protected] (CGV North America) or your pilot coordinator through your existing private channel. Do not send a private key, recording or story text for troubleshooting.
